Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2025-10-01
Overview
Allio Tools is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We operate a free, browser-based utility platform where most tools process data entirely on your device without transmitting it to our servers.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal data to operate and improve the platform. We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on page, country/region (derived from IP, not stored), device type, and browser type. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual identities. We do not use cookies for tracking beyond what Google Analytics requires. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily contact us.
How Tool Data Is Processed
The majority of tools on allio.tools process all data locally in your browser using JavaScript. Files, text, and values you enter into tools are not transmitted to our servers. A small number of tools make requests to third-party public APIs (such as ipapi.co for IP lookups, qrserver.com for QR code generation, and allorigins.win as a CORS proxy). When a tool uses an external API, this is noted in the tool description. The data sent to those third-party services is subject to their respective privacy policies.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use minimal cookies. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies to measure usage. No advertising or targeting cookies are used. Some tools may use browser localStorage to save your preferences (such as last-used settings) entirely within your browser. This data never leaves your device.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Google Analytics 4 for usage analytics; Google AdSense when advertising is enabled for monetization; Cloudflare Pages for hosting and CDN delivery. Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to any third party.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), or other applicable privacy laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold. Since we collect minimal data and no account-linked PII, most requests can be satisfied by clearing your browser cookies and localStorage. For requests or questions, contact us using the information below.
Children's Privacy
Allio Tools is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the Last Updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
